Boarding Student Profile: Victor Ren

Victor Ren is an 11th grade student from Pingdingshan, Henan Province, China.  Pingdingshan 平顶山 literally means “Flat Top Mountain” and it has a population of 1.8 million people. The city is best known for coal mining. Henan Province is also quite famous around the world for being the birthplace of two popular forms of martial arts: tai-ji 太极 and kung fu 功夫. Shaolin Temple 少林寺 near Victor’s hometown is where kung fu began.

Keith Marion Board Scholarship Winner Announced

Each year with the help of the faculty, staff and administration, the Ben Lippen Board of Directors selects the winner of the Keith Marion Board Scholarship. The award is given to a student with financial need whom the board believes best represents the mission of Ben Lippen School.
