Middle School Principal

Mr. Jay Sikkema

Jay Sikkema has been with Ben Lippen School since 1991. He has been involved in Christian education for over 15 years serving in the middle school, formerly as a teacher, currently as principal and football coach. Prior to joining BLS, Jay served in the United States Marine Corp. He is a graduate of Columbia Bible College and is currently enrolled in CIU’s graduate program where he is working on his Master’s in Christian School Administration. His wife Lawrie is a teacher’s aide in the elementary school. Jay has two children, one, a BL grad, now attends The Citadel, and one who is still at the school. Jay enjoys sports, hiking, and spending time with family.
