2024 Academic Growth

As we embark on this new school year, we want to thank you for your continued trust and partnership in your child's education. The Lord has truly blessed our school with continued growth, and we are excited to share some exciting developments across all our programs, from Lower School to High School.

In the Lower School, we are delighted to extend our reach and offer more inclusive instructional styles to meet the needs of students with dyslexia. With the addition of phase I of The Ridge, families can rest assured that their children are receiving excellent instruction from Orton-Gillingham certified instructors in a manner that meets the needs of the learner in a Christ-centered environment. Parents have the option for their child to receive one-on-one or small group OG instruction twice a week during the school day. For more information, please visit Ben Lippen Student Support.

Our Lower School team is also embracing a fresh focus on neuroscience research, which is informing our instructional decisions in concrete, practical ways. We are excited about the many ways the Lord is blessing these new endeavors as we continue to grow and enhance our program.

In our Middle School, we are thrilled to announce the addition of a 5th-grade Bible section, a testament to the growth we've experienced. To ensure that our students receive the best possible education, we've made strategic changes to our teaching assignments. Ms. Joanna Bauer will now focus solely on teaching Bible, allowing her to dedicate her time and energy to this vital subject. Additionally, we are pleased to welcome Mrs. Christine Buckner, who brings with her a passion for Science and a commitment to educational excellence, to our team.

At Ben Lippen High School, we have expanded our curriculum to provide even more opportunities for our students. We are introducing a new Journalism course and a Dual Enrollment Environmental Science class, taught by one of our talented teachers. These additions offer our students the chance to explore new areas of interest and deepen their academic experience.

We have also strengthened our math and technology departments with additional staff to ensure that we meet the evolving needs of our students. Our Bible department has undergone significant restructuring, with new seminars designed to deepen our upperclassmen's understanding and encourage their spiritual growth.

In all these changes, our commitment to providing a Christ-centered, academically excellent education remains at the forefront. We are confident that these enhancements will enrich your child's educational experience at Ben Lippen School. We encourage you to reach out if you have any questions or would like to learn more about how these updates will support your child's growth. We look forward to a year filled with learning, growth, and God's continued blessings.
