2026 Teacher of the Year: Mrs. Cassie Kinman

Ben Lippen is proud to honor Mrs. Cassie Kinman, sixth-grade ELA teacher, as this year’s Teacher of the Year!

On any given afternoon, Mrs. Kinman can be found thoughtfully reflecting on and refining the best ways to reach her students. Her dedication to strong instructional practices and her ability to thoughtfully scaffold learning are evident in both the academic growth and achievement of her class. She consistently challenges students to set meaningful goals and persevere in reaching them, helping them see the value and relevance of their hard work through intentional, reflective conversations.

Mrs. Kinman’s impact extends far beyond her classroom. Known for her positive attitude and exceptional work ethic, she brings creativity and forward-thinking ideas to the middle school community. She is quick to collaborate with colleagues and generously supports new staff as they acclimate to life at Ben Lippen.

Her passion for student success and her commitment to partnering with families are clear in the strong relationships she has built with both students and parents. Through her leadership, innovation, and care, Mrs. Kinman exemplifies what it means to teach with excellence and purpose.
