Ben Lippen x Circa Barbershop — T‑Shirt Design Contest Winners!

We’re excited to announce the winners of the Ben Lippen art students’ t‑shirt design competition with Circa Barbershop! More than 25 creative submissions were entered, and Ben Lippen students voted to select the top three designs.

  • The three winning designs are now live and available for purchase on Circa’s website for the next three months.
  • For every shirt sold, the student designer will receive a 10% commission.

This is an amazing opportunity for our young artists, a real-world platform, recognition, and a chance to earn from their creativity. If you’d like to support their work and encourage more student art, please consider buying one of their shirts.

Thank you for helping us inspire the next generation of artists!

We also wanted to highlight the students whose creativity brought these shirts to life:

Isabel E. (Keep it Classic)
Isabel has been drawing since she was very young and has always loved expressing herself through visual storytelling. She plans to pursue a career in illustration and pulled inspiration from classic ‘90s aesthetics for her Circa design, blending music with physical art. After experimenting with several sketches and color schemes, she landed on a clean, simple composition created in Procreate.
David C. (Tech design)
David’s style has evolved from early anime sketches into bold, tattoo-inspired artwork. His piece reflects that progression — sharp, deliberate lines combined with symbolic cyber-sigil motifs and hand-drawn texture. The design mirrors the look and feel of his sketchbook: precise, mysterious, and personal.
Cedar P (Motorcycle design).
Cedar has been making art from a young age and has recently gotten into pen-and-ink illustration. Her pocket-style design showcases new techniques in line work, texture, and detail, exploring ways to create depth and dimension using ink alone.

We’re incredibly grateful for these students, their teachers, and the entire Ben Lippen community for partnering with us on something meaningful. And we’re excited for you to see just how talented these young artists are.

Thanks for supporting local students, local art, and the next generation of creators.
