Growing Through Enrichment

In the Lower School, our students have the opportunity to be enriched in literacy, world language, fine arts, and movement. Through weekly classes in Library, Music, Art, Spanish, and P.E., our students get to explore the unique ways the Lord has gifted them while expanding their minds to become well-rounded individuals in overall support of their academics. Throughout the year, our Enrichment teachers work tirelessly to create engaging experiences that take our students to new heights in all of our related areas. From cooking cultural foods in Spanish to wrapping up the year at Spring Fling, our students have been given the opportunity to use their gifts and talents to be creative in glorifying the Lord. Check out all of the amazing events from our Enrichment team below!

  • International Week: Senora Putnam is our liaison to world languages and cultures, helping to bring this week focused on missions to life for our students.

  • Read Across Ben Lippen Week: Mrs. Leneschmidt instills a love of all things reading weekly in her library but Read Across Ben Lippen Week brings literacy to the forefront in a week-long celebration!

  • Field Day: Who doesn’t love field day? Coach Brooker creates an action-packed day of sportsmanship and competition to highlight many of the amazing games and activities the students have learned throughout the year.

  • Spring Fling: An event that puts a lovely bow on all of the joy and hard work that has been built over the year. At this culminating event, the students not only have two pieces of artwork displayed in the LS Art Show but are also on stage to showcase what they have learned in music, with instruments and song. What a fun event!
