Falcon Family Legacy: The Woodard Family's Ben Lippen Story

For Emily and Robby Woodard, Ben Lippen School is far more than just a place of learning. It’s a cornerstone of their family’s story. Both members of the Class of 1999, Emily and Robby’s connection to Ben Lippen began as middle schoolers in 1994 and has continued into the next generation with their children, Archie (Class of 2023) and Connie Anne (Class of 2025).

Emily’s Ben Lippen journey began when her parents were looking for a better middle school option and, through the encouragement and financial support of a couple from their church, chose Ben Lippen. Years later, Emily and Robby made the same decision for their own children with encouragement and support from that very same couple.

“We both had great memories of being at Ben Lippen and were so excited for our children to experience it,” Emily shares. “We stayed because our children really thrived in the Ben Lippen environment. They felt safe and supported, they loved their teachers, made great friends, and had wonderful opportunities academically, athletically, and in the arts.”

To families considering Ben Lippen, the Woodards offer heartfelt encouragement: “Over the years, the Lord continued to confirm to us in many ways that our financial sacrifices and investment in Christian education was absolutely worth it for our children.”

As a testament to the impact Ben Lippen has had on their lives, Emily says:

“Ben Lippen has deeply shaped our family, not only as the school all four of us graduated from, but through the lasting relationships and meaningful experiences that made it feel like home.”

Continuing to invest in meaningful conversations and faith-centered growth, Emily recently launched a podcast with her father, Dr. Ross, called I Asked My Dad. The two will be featured as special guests on the Ben Lippen Podcast later this week.
