Rising to the Challenge: Spring 2026 Testing Reflects Strong Growth

We are excited to share encouraging news from our Spring 2026 PSAT 10 results, which reflect continued academic growth and strong performance by our students over the past three years.

Since 2024, Ben Lippen has seen a significant increase in the number of students meeting college readiness benchmarks in both Reading/Writing and Math, rising from 38% to 56%. This steady growth highlights the effectiveness of our instructional programs and the hard work of our students and teachers.

Reading and Writing remains a particular strength, with 88% of our students meeting the benchmark, well above both state and national averages. At the same time, we are especially encouraged by the substantial gains in Math, where performance has increased by 17 percentage points over three years—a testament to our focused efforts in this area.

Our students also continue to outperform peers across the state and nation:

• 56% of Ben Lippen students met both benchmarks, compared to 45% statewide and 35% nationally

• Our average total score of 1021 exceeds both state and national averages by a wide margin

This year’s PreACT 8/9 results reflect measurable growth and continued academic strength at Ben Lippen. Our composite score increased to 20.4, the highest in the past three years (up from 19.6 last year).

Math demonstrated one of the most significant gains, with the average score rising from 18.3 to 20.1 and the percentage of students meeting benchmarks increasing from 48% to 64%. Reading also showed strong recovery, with the average score increasing to 23.9 and 83% of students meeting benchmarks, up from 71% last year.

English continues to be a consistent area of excellence, with 86% of students meeting benchmarks, maintaining high performance over time.

Overall, these results demonstrate both strong academic outcomes and clear areas of focus as we continue to support student growth across all disciplines.

We are grateful for the partnership between our teachers, students, and families that makes this progress possible. We remain committed to supporting every student as they continue to grow and prepare for future academic success.
