Tell us about your family. I married my high school sweetheart, Jonathan, in 2005 in Pennsylvania and we have been on a slow trek to the South for just as many years! We’ve called South Carolina home for almost 10 years now and can’t imagine life any differently! We have two children, Emma (8th grade) and Carter (5th grade), and reside in the Blythewood area.
What do you like to do in your free time? I enjoy drinking coffee, reading, watching my kids play sports, going to the movies, and exploring cities for good places to eat!
What else would you like readers to know about you? My favorite movie is Double Jeopardy; I am now the 3rd tallest person in my family; and I hide all the good candy from my kids (haha).
What is something most people don't know about you? Most people don’t know that I’m, as my friend James McCall calls me, a “high-functioning introvert." I also am a little bit of a tech nerd – I drive a Tesla and my house is run by Alexa. I’m always looking for ways to make my life easier – some may categorize that as lazy but I call it being innovative! 😊
Why do you choose to work at Ben Lippen? We love the community at Ben Lippen. When they say “it takes a village,” they aren't joking! I can’t say enough about how much the Ben Lippen community has blessed us. We’re constantly surrounded by wonderful people who encourage us, pray for us, and guide us through these crazy years of parenting. I couldn’t imagine a better job than to serve our families and the staff and faculty here at BL who have served us so well in the past!
What do you love most about Ben Lippen? The people. From the moment we came to Ben Lippen, we felt accepted and loved. We’re surrounded by amazing people who love God, love each other, and want to do what’s best for their families. We’re so grateful to be a part of the Ben Lippen family!
What has been your most memorable moment at BL so far? When we first came to Ben Lippen, Kelly Adams was amazing at getting us integrated. The amazing thing is that she still talks to me even after meeting my husband, so that says a lot. 😉
