Tell us about your family.
I have been married to my husband, Wesley, for over 14 years. I have a daughter Julia who is in 4th, a daughter Abby who is in 2nd, and a son Calvin who is in K5. Our family likes to go hiking, watch movies, and read books together. We love the mountains, beach, and lake! In my free time, I like to sing worship songs, walk our golden retriever Chewy and spend quality time with my family and friends.

What is something readers might not know about you?
Something you may not know about me is that I am teaching myself how to play the ukelele!

Why do you choose to work at Ben Lippen?
I chose to work at BL because I wanted my children to be surrounded by people with Christian values. I also wanted to teach at a place that shares the same values as I do.

What are you passionate about?
I am passionate about teaching music, especially Christian children’s songs. I believe there are so many things you can teach children through song. I love seeing kids have an avenue for creativity and expression of praise to God through music. There is nothing sweeter than children praising the Lord together.

What do you love most about Ben Lippen?
What I love most about BL is the community. We are new to BL this year and everyone has been so kind and generous to us. We are so thankful to have the opportunity to be in a Christian school where the curriculum is in line with what our family believes and BL doesn’t compromise on its biblical values to fit in with our society. I am thankful for that.
