Some might think that Mr. Failoni is new to Ben Lippen because he was recently hired to fill Coach Bobby Young’s shoes in Middle School Bible. However, Mr. Failoni has been a Falcon since the 1990’s! Before this year, Mr. Failoni taught at BL from 1991 to 1998 and then again from 2004 until 2013 when he and his family moved to the mission field of the UAE.

Mr. Failoni and his wife, Rhonda, have been married for 31 years and have four children: Hannah, Sarah, Catherine and Matthew (who is a senior at Ben Lippen this year). He also has two grandchildren! Mr. Failoni spends his free time dating his wife, spending time with his children and grandchildren, reading, fishing and hunting.

What is something most people don’t know about you? I rode a camel in the desert in the UAE and walked upon the Great Wall in China.

What are you passionate about? I’m passionate about the scriptures and for the nations coming to know Christ.

Why do you choose to work at BL? God called me to Ben Lippen.

What do students get at BL that they won’t get somewhere else? They get to see Christian teachers share and live out their faith.

What do you love most about Ben Lippen? I love the team atmosphere and the joy experienced by the faculty, staff, and students as they are within the halls, on the fields and in the classrooms at BL.

What do you love most about teaching Bible? I love seeing students engage in the scriptures and ask the hard questions.

What do you love most about teaching your students? I love teaching the truths from scriptures and see my students embrace them.
