What is something most people don’t know about you?

I’m addicted to Sports Talk and Stand-up Comedy radio stations. Also, although I grew up on a farm in Ohio, I am a fan of Philly sports.

What are you passionate about?

Reading and helping kids find a book that they can lose themselves in.

Why do you choose to teach at Ben Lippen?

I can’t imagine teaching at a place where I couldn’t incorporate my faith into content.

What is your favorite part of your school day?

Reading Break!! Having time in the middle of the day to relax and simply read a book for pleasure makes me happy!

What do you love most about teaching your students?

Getting to know all of their quirks and personalities and watching them conquer writing challenges
