Ben Lippen Named 2018 SCISA Western Equestrian Reserve Champions
Congratulations to seventh-graders Ava and Jenna Woody on their accomplishments at the SCISA Western Equestrian Competition!
Ava and Jenna Woody, 7th-grade members of the Interscholastic Equestrian Association (IEA), proudly represented Ben Lippen School at the SCISA Western Equestrian Competition on April 14 at Magnolia Farms in Eastover, South Carolina. The teams were comprised of 6th-12th grade SCISA equestrian athletes who also serve as competing members of an IEA team. Though only able to enter two of the five classes, the sisters’ combined points were enough to claim the title of reserve champion for Ben Lippen School. Ava Woody earned 1st place in the Novice Horsemanship class, and Jenna Woody received 2nd place in the Intermediate Horsemanship class. Next month, they will compete at IEA semi-finals and have an opportunity to advance to IEA Western National Finals held in Oklahoma City in June.
