Spiritual Life

At Ben Lippen, we prioritize Jesus’ charge to make disciples.

Discipleship, put simply, is following Jesus and intentionally helping others to do the same. We want to teach, coach, and live in a way where Christ is evident and made more famous. We believe in these kingdom priorities because Jesus perfectly modeled them and taught them.

Live out our Faith

Chapels & Retreats

Chapels and retreats are designed to celebrate Christ through music, prayer, teaching, and fellowship.

Students attend chapel on a weekly basis and retreats are held throughout the year to foster spiritual growth and deepen community.

Regardless of where a student is in their spiritual journey, it is our goal to help them take their next steps in following Jesus.

We accomplish this through intentional relationships and a variety of programs that are aimed at being and making disciples.

Service Projects

Following Jesus’ example of servant leadership, we provide outreach opportunities for our students.

Using Acts 1:8 as our model, Ben Lippen is on mission locally, nationally, and abroad.

Virtues Approach

Through a biblical worldview, we take a virtues approach to pro-actively address real-life issues. Each month we tackle relevant topics through chapel series, student-assemblies, family group discussions, curriculum integration, and parent seminars.

  • Honor
  • Respect
  • Love
  • Purity
  • Integrity
  • Self-Control

A school counselor serves the Ben Lippen community in each division by providing a safe place for students to receive support and Biblical counsel for the struggles they encounter, whether it be emotional, relational, behavioral, academic, or spiritual.

The Director of Student Life serves the Ben Lippen community by holding students accountable when poor choices are made. We believe that discipline should be restorative in nature, coming alongside the student and helping them grow in wisdom.

Disciples simply are people who are constantly revising their affairs to carry through on their decision to follow Jesus. – Dallas Willard
