February 18 – ACSI Day of Prayer

February 14, 2020 Upper School News

Dear Parents,

This Tuesday, we will join Christian schools from around the world for our school-wide day of prayer! Students will spend the first 10 minutes of four classes praying using the ACTS Prayer Model (Adoration, Confession, Thanksgiving, Supplication). Last year we introduced this prayer model to our student body and we can’t wait to continue on with it, using ACSI’s theme of “overflow” based upon Romans 15:13. Our entire reading break time will be devoted to prayer as well.

“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit” (Romans 15:13).

We would love for you to join us in prayer from your house or workplace. There’s something powerful about corporate, focused prayer as we seek the face of Jesus and flood heaven together! Below is the prayer schedule so that you can pray with us.

1st Block HS (8:10) – Adoration

1st Period MS (8:10) – Adoration

2nd Block HS (9:35) – Confession

3rd Period MS (9:40) – Confession
