Transcripts

Current Students

Transcript requests for colleges must be submitted to the College Counseling Office. Students are responsible for indicating the colleges to which they have applied in Scoir so that transcripts can be sent on their behalf. Please contact your college counselor with any questions. All deadlines are the responsibility of the individual student. Transcript requests must be made at least two weeks prior to the application deadline.

BLS has partnered with Parchment to make the process of requesting your transcript easy and secure. This convenient system allows you to submit your order at any time. Here’s how to get started.

Submit Your Request Online

To order an official transcript, visit Parchment’s online Transcript Ordering Service .You can choose to receive your transcript electronically or as a physical copy.

Payment

You will need a debit or credit card to pay for your transcript request, but you won’t be charged until the transcript is processed. The pricing for transcripts vary based on your requested delivery method.

Processing Time

Transcript requests are typically processed within 3 to 5 business days. You will receive email updates throughout the process. (Please allow additional time for mailing if you request a paper copy.)

Order Updates

You can check the status of your order and view your order history online through Parchment. You will also receive email notifications regarding the status of your request.

Official vs. Unofficial Transcripts: What’s the Difference?

  • Official – Transcripts sent directly to a third party are considered official upon delivery. If you request a mailed copy, it remains official if sealed and unopened.
  • Unofficial – Transcripts sent to you are considered unofficial unless they are in a sealed envelope that has not been opened.
