High School: International Week!
Dear High School Students,
Next week is International Week, a special week here at Ben Lippen. Each year we celebrate the international cultures represented at our school in hopes that our students will have a better understanding of the cultures around them and around the world. In the high school, we have a variety of activities planned and the students will have the opportunity each day to dress up in various international-themed attire. Please see the image to the right for the dress-up days.
Students may choose to wear either campus wear or they can dress in the themed attire for the day. Students who dress up will receive points for their Family Group. Points will also be awarded for planned activities during lunch and Family Group times throughout the week. We will be working from a special schedule for Monday (see below), but the rest of the week will be a normal schedule, with the activities being planned during our Reading/Family Group time.
I look forward to this week every year because it is an opportunity to learn about people and cultures around the world. I hope the week will be impactful to all of our students and open up an interest for making a difference for Christ in the world.
In Him,
Max Russell
High School Principal
