Hurricane Dorian Return to School Information

September 5, 2019 Upper School News

Dear Upper School Families and Students,

We hope you all have been able to stay safe and dry as the storm is passing through.  Although we are still monitoring the storm, it appears we should be able to return to school tomorrow (Friday).  Whether we return tomorrow or later, when we do return it will be a B-Day for students.  Anything that was due today or scheduled for today, will be due tomorrow.  Teachers will update Renweb and Schoology accordingly as soon as they are able to.  Also, due to the storm and the cancellation of school, the Senior Retreat has been postponed until a later date.  So, Seniors should be in class when we return.

Also, do not forget about the special Jeans Day tomorrow.  With our football team on a bye this week, we are giving students and faculty an opportunity to dress in their finest football regalia, supporting their favorite college and NFL teams (or CFL teams, for our Canadian friends).  Please see the attached flyer that we sent out earlier this week.

We will be praying for the safety of everyone as the storm passes our coast and may affect parts of our community.  Please let us know if there is anything we can do for you.  God Bless!

In Him,

Corey Thompson
Middle School Principal

Max Russell
High School Principal
