Lower School NE Campus Update – 8.23.22
Dear Parents,
We are so grateful for the start of our second full week of school. The students are beginning to settle into their classroom routines and are learning the classroom rules and expectations.
Here are a few reminders for this week:
- Independence Day: Hip, Hip, Hooray! It’s Independence Day! Beginning Monday, August 29th, all students will walk to class independently! This builds responsibility and allows the teachers and students to begin the day smoothly. Parents/guardians who walk their child into the school building will say goodbye at the lobby door. Students are invited to wear red, white, and blue on August 29th to celebrate Independence Day.
- Falcon Feast: September order forms are coming home in today’s Tuesday folders. Order forms are due next Wednesday, August 31st. Please include payment with your order form. Due to advanced ordering/payment, no refunds will be issued.
- MAP testing: MAP testing will take place the week of August 29th for 1st and 2nd grades. Kindergarten students will be tested later in the year. More information will be shared by your child’s teacher.
- PTF Fundraiser: Parent Teacher Fellowship provides snacks for our teachers to show our appreciation for all that they do for our students and families, and we would love your help! Please use the link below to sign up to contribute:
