Lower School Reminders 11.9.21 (SAR)
Operation Christmas Child: Thank you for supporting Operation Christmas Child this Christmas season. Just a reminder that all filled boxes are due in the office no later than November 17. (Please note that you are welcome to drop the boxes off at any collection site.)
A Note From PTF – Volunteers Needed: Don’t forget that Friday, November 12, is our Lower School Fall Festival. It will be held at the Ben Lippen Football Stadium beginning at 5:30 PM. PTF is in need of parent volunteers to help set up, clean up and man the bounce houses. If you are available to help please click HERE to sign up. We appreciate everyone’s help in making this a fun Fall Festival. Don’t forget to bring your own chairs/blankets to sit on. You are welcome to pack a picnic dinner for your family or you can purchase dinner from one the of food trucks.
Christmas Program “Save the Date:” Mark your calendars for our upcoming Christmas programs. Watch for more information in the coming days.
1st-4th Grades: December 14 at 6:30 p.m. at the Performing Arts Center at SAR
Pre-K3-Kindergarten: December 16 at 10:30 a.m. at the Performing Arts Center at SAR
The Falcon Fund: Instead of hosting a Boosterthon event this fall, Ben Lippen is asking for parents to give through the Falcon Fund Parent Giving Drive, which runs through November 18. The Falcon Fund raises unrestricted gifts to support the annual operating budget, which includes instructional materials, program support, updated equipment and technology, and professional development for teachers. It impacts every student, on every campus. As is the “norm” for most independent schools, tuition does not cover the full cost of educating each student, and we rely on charitable donations to bridge the gap.
We ask that all Ben Lippen parents give to help us reach the goal of 100% participation. No amount is too big or too small, so please pledge or give today by going to www.benlippen.com/give. Thank you for your generosity!
Outerwear Reminder: Please note that the handbook states: Outerwear – An outer layer of clothing (e.g. a jacket, a sweater, etc.) may be worn in the school building so long as the clothing meets all the guidelines outlined below. Even when wearing an outer layer of clothing, students are required to wear a campus wear top underneath it. All outerwear must be solid color in the BL Campus Wear color palette limited to green, yellow/gold, gray, black, or white. All images on outerwear must be appropriate and not offensive.
Mask Reminder: Just a reminder to send your child to school with a mask each day. It is also helpful to put an extra one in their book bag. Thank you!
