May 13, 2019 Lower School News

Baseball State Playoffs:  Congratulations to our varsity baseball team for making it to the state playoff finals. Students are encouraged to show their Falcon Pride tomorrow by wearing white. Students that wear white to school tomorrow may also wear jeans. The baseball game against Hammond tonight (Monday) is at Ben Lippen and begins at 7:00 PM and tomorrow night (Tuesday) the Falcons will play at Hammond.  The cost is $9.00 for adults and $5.00 for children.  Go Falcons!!!

Student Picnic: Monday, May 20, will be our annual end of the year student picnic.  This is always a fun way for our teachers and students to celebrate the end of a great year! You will not need to send a lunch with your child to school on Monday (unless they do not like hot dogs) and there is no charge or sign up required for this meal. We will assume your child will be eating the hotdog lunch unless we hear differently from you. The menu will be hot dogs (ketchup and mustard), chips, fruit, and a water bottle. In addition, as a special treat, our 5th Graders (Legacy) will be providing snow cones for the students. Thank you to Mr. Alexander for grilling the hotdogs and to our 5th Graders (Legacy) for providing the snow cones. Please let us know if you have any questions.

PTF Game Night, May 14:  Tomorrow night is our PTF game night.  It will be held in the cafeteria from 6:00-7:30 PM. If you have not sent in your reservation form and would like to come, please reply to this email and we will add you to the list. The cost is $5.00 per family.

Last Week of School:  Just a reminder that Monday and Tuesday, May 20 & 21, are full days of school for our lower school students. We will have extended care on those days.  Wednesday, May 23, will be our last day of school and is a half day with dismissal at 11:45 AM. There will be no extended care on Wednesday due to the half day of school.
