Lower School Reminders 8.22.21 (MR)

Parent Night: Parent Night will be held tomorrow night, August 23. from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. This evening is an opportunity for parents of students in grades PK3 – 4th to visit their child’s classroom and to hear from their teacher about the upcoming school year. Parents with more than one child will have the opportunity to visit multiple classrooms. Parents multiple children are asked to go to your youngest child’s classroom first.
Carline/Bus/Afterschool Care Changes: Just a reminder to notify the office (donna.branney@benlippen.com or 803-807-4300) with any dismissal changes before 2:30 PM. If you email or leave a message, I will do my best to reply to confirm receipt of the change.
Car Line Reminders: Thank you all for being patient while we worked through our carline route this past week. Please see a few reminders regarding carline.
- Please ensure that your child is ready to exit the vehicle as soon as you pull up to a cone. (Morning carline)
- Parents should remain in the vehicle and students should exit on the passenger side of the vehicle. This is for the safety of the teachers and student helpers in carline.
- Please do not pass another car in line.
- Please remember there is no cell phone use during carline.
MR Clubs: The following clubs will be offered at the MR campus for the fall semester – flour power, soccer shots, youth development soccer and robotics. Watch for more detailed information being sent home this week.
PTF Fundraiser – Spirit Wear – It is time for our Parent Teacher Fellowship (PTF) Fall Spirit Wear Sale! This year we are offering t-shirts and sweatshirts (Friday spirit wear approved!), as well as Ben Lippen football jerseys! All orders can be placed online and items will be delivered to your child at school. Jersey orders close on Thursday, August 26th and t-shirt orders must be placed by Tuesday, August 31st.
