Lower School Reminders and Parking for Boosterthon (MR)

Parking for Boosterthon – If parents are coming to watch or volunteer for the Boosterthon Glow Run, you will need to park in the senior parking lot which is in front of the high school building.   The Glow Run will be in the high school gym and the schedule is as follows:

  • 9:15     –   PreK3-2nd grade
  • 10:15   –   3rd-5th grade

Parents, don’t forget our Boosterthon Glow Run is TOMORROW! With only one night left before the Glow Run, make sure to enter your last few pledges on FUNRUN.COM tonight. The class that can work together and move up $10 pledge per lap in NEW pledges tonight, they will get to pie the Booster team in the face!  Thank you again for supporting our school and helping us reach our fundraising goal! Come cheer on your students!

Book Fair – Are you ready for the Arctic Blast of books coming with the Book Fair next week?  Yes, the Scholastic Book Fair will be here November 12th – 14th.  Wish List Day is Tuesday and prizes will be given throughout the week for acts of kindness.  Teachers also have wish list books if you would like to help build their classroom libraries. Students may purchase books with parents before or after school, or send in orders from their wish list.   Students 3rd – 5th grade will have time to shop during their library time on Wednesday, and parents can shop anytime 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. all three days.

Congratulations to the winners of the coloring contest.   A free book is waiting for you at the fair.  Please come down the library hallway to see all the entries for the contest.

Lost and Found – We have many jackets, sweaters and other items in the lost and found.   Please stop by and see if anything belongs to your family.  If the items are not claimed by November 22, they will go to Goodwill or the campus wear closet at SAR.

Christmas Program – The lower school Christmas program is December 10 at 7:00 pm in the auditorium at the St. Andrews Road Campus. Students arrive at 6:30 at SAR.  PreK-3 – kindergarten meet in building A; 1st-4th  meet in the cafeteria and 5th meet in the choir room at SAR.  The attire for the Christmas program is: plain red shirt and khaki pants for 1-4th and PreK-3 and PreK-4 and for kindergarten plain white shirts and khakis.

Thanksgiving – The Thanksgiving lunches will be on Friday, November 22.  Please see the attached flyer for 2nd through 5th graders.
