Dear Middle School Students,

Good afternoon! We hope that everyone is enjoying the Spirit Week activities so far! The next two days should also be a lot of fun, and we encourage everyone to join us Friday evening for the Carnival and Homecoming Football game (7:30 pm kickoff)! Don’t forget, we will have an awesome fireworks show immediately after the game that night!

We also want to take a moment to share with you some VERY EXCITING NEWS about a new tradition we are starting in our Middle School this year!

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls…LET’S GET READY FOR SLAM WEEK 2021!

Now, you may be wondering, what exactly is SLAM Week? “SLAM” is an acronym for SERVICE, LEARNING, ADVENTURE, and MEMORIES! We have some very exciting things planned for our Middle School students and staff for the week of November 1st!

8th Graders: Our 8th Grade class will travel to Washington, DC for their annual trip, November 1st-4th. 8th Graders will NOT come to school on Friday, November 5th since they will return late on the evening of the 4th.

5th, 6th, and 7th Graders: We have 3 FUN-FILLED AND EPIC DAYS OF ADVENTURE planned for you guys on Tuesday, November 2nd, Wednesday, November 3rd, and Thursday, November 4th! We’ve got multiple local field trips planned, 2 service projects, and some wacky, crazy, and thrilling events planned for here on campus that will create a lot of fantastic memories! Please note, Monday 11/1 and Friday 11/5 will be normal days of school for 5th, 6th, and 7th Graders.

8th Grade families have already received a great deal of information about the Washington, DC trip. Packing lists, permission slips, and the trip itinerary will be given out on Monday!

5th, 6th, and 7th Grade families will receive specific event/field trip details, as well as permission slips early next week!

Stay tuned students…this is going to be EPIC! Get ready for SLAM WEEK 2021!
