Middle School: Wednesday – Friday Schedule and Christmas Extravaganza!

December 17, 2019 Upper School News

Dear Middle School Students and Parents,

Good afternoon! I hope this finds you well and I trust that everyone is looking forward to the upcoming Christmas holiday!

Let me begin by expressing just how proud we are of our students and staff for their generosity and creative enthusiasm that they displayed during our 2nd annual “Spirit (of Giving) Week” festivities last week! We had a great time enjoying the special themed days, and as a Middle School, we raised dozens of blankets, socks, gloves, and other warm items that are being distributed to local ministries this week!

As a reminder, school will dismiss for Grades 6-12 at 12:10 pm this Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.

Attached you will find an abbreviated class schedule for Wednesday and Thursday. Please note that we will be singing Christmas carols at CIU tomorrow morning! Dress for Wednesday and Thursday will be our “Falcon Friday” dress code (jeans and BLS shirts).

Friday will be our Middle School Christmas Extravaganza! Events will include watching “A Charlie Brown Christmas,” Christmas karaoke, inflatable obstacle courses, games, contests, a photo booth, and snacks! Students are allowed to wear modest and appropriate athletic wear, BLS gear, and Christmas attire for Friday’s activities!

On behalf of the Middle School faculty and staff, please accept our most sincere thanks and appreciation for the kindness and generosity you have extended to our team in so many ways. You and your children have blessed us immensely, and for that (and you), we are grateful.

We want to wish all of you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. We pray that your time with friends and loved ones is blessed with wonderful memories…and that we all take time to reflect upon what this season is truly about as we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior.
