Life Skills 101: Preparing Students for Success in College and Beyond.

We are excited to welcome Dr. Kerr C. Ramsay III from High Point University as our guest speaker on Tuesday, October 17 for our Life Skills 101. Dr. Ramsay will be speaking with students and parents about critical skills, that need to be developed now, which will help students be competitive in the future job market.
Dr. Kerr C. Ramsay III is the Sr. Vice President for Enrollment at High Point University in High Point, North Carolina. As a part of the admissions team at the #1 Regional College in the South, he oversees the admissions efforts for sixty-three undergraduate programs and twenty-one graduate programs across thirteen distinct schools. Kerr has over twenty years of admissions experience in some of America’s most unique private colleges and universities.
Away from work, Kerr and his wife Palmer are the proud parents of two sons, Ford and Whit, and a daughter, Reading. Kerr values the opportunity to support the High Point community by serving on the United Way Campaign Committee, as a Board Member of The Family Services Foundation of High Point, as the Treasurer of Communities in Schools, as the Senior Warden at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church, and as a Board Member for Hospice of the Piedmont. If he’s not at work or with his family you will likely find Kerr on his bike somewhere on the back roads of the Triad.
Kerr holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Hampden-Sydney College, a Master of Divinity from Emory University, and a Doctor of Education from the Institute of Higher Education at the University of Georgia.
