Message from Mrs. L (our Librarian): Thank you to those that visited our Paperpie (formerly known as Usborne Books & More) Book Table at the Spring Fling on Friday! Remember that our school receives 50% back in free books!
Spring Fling: A huge thank you to our wonderful Art and Music teachers, Mrs. Toburen and Mrs. Sawyer, for all of their hard work in making last week’s Spring Fling a huge success. We also want to thank our PTF for setting up the food and games. We are proud of our students and all of their hard work.
Field Day: A special thanks to Coach Brooker for a great PK3-Kindergarten Field Day! The students (and teachers) had a blast. Don’t forget that next Monday, May 1, will be our 1st-4th grade Field Day. The SAR students will be bussed to and from Field Day so they will just come to the SAR campus as usual on Monday. Please see the details below:
Monday, May 1, 1st grade – 4th grade (10AM- 1:30PM)
- Students will leave the SAR campus by bus to the MR campus at 9:30AM and will return to SAR by bus by 1:30PM.
- Students are to wear their P.E. uniforms/Friday Wear and tennis shoes (Don’t forget to apply sunscreen)
- Students are to bring a disposable lunch and water bottle (please label)
- Parent volunteers may pick up their children from Field Day. Please sign out your child from their teacher.
Seussical Kids: Seussical Kids, a musical featuring students in our third and fourth grades, will premiere at the Performing Arts Center (500 St. Andrews Rd) Thursday – Saturday, May 4-6, 2023, at 7 p.m. Tickets will go on sale at benlippen.com/seussicalkids/ for FOFA members Monday, April 24, Families of Cast & Crew Tuesday, April 25, and the General Public Wednesday, April 26.
Cooking and Art Camp: This camp is for rising K5 – 5th graders and will be held June 5-8 from 9:00 am-3:00 pm at the SAR Campus. Register your child by scanning the QR code on the flyer that was sent home last week. Space is limited. Please email Gwen.Cornwell@Benlippen.com with additional questions.
Camp Invention – June 12-15: We are excited to offer Camp Invention again this summer. Flyers were sent home last week with more information on how to register. It will be held at the Monticello Road campus.
Sports Camps: Ben Lippen Athletics 2023 WIN Summer Sports Camps are back and better than ever!!! They will offer several weekly fun-filled camps where kids are able to pursue their passions and fuel their athletic potential. Click WIN Summer Sports Camps for more information.
Message From the BLS Booster Club: On Monday, May 15, the Ben Lippen Booster Club is hosting its first golf tournament to benefit all sports at all levels.
