Spiritual Life

Enough said, really….

At the end of the day, everything boils down to that one Name. “The name above all names” (Philippians 2:9). The Sunday school answer is always Jesus, right? Well, it sounds cliché, but it’s true. Jesus is the only true answer, but if we are not careful, all we will know is the name Jesus and not the person Jesus.

At Ben Lippen, we believe in relationships. Above all things, we believe our relationship with Jesus takes top priority and all other relationships will naturally flow through and from that relationship. Make no mistake, discipleship is based on relationship. If you try it any other way, it will be fake or, at best, a cheap imitation. It can’t be forced; it must be organic in nature. That’s why our faculty, staff, and coaches are “on mission” to build relationships and do life with our students inside and outside of the classroom. We desire to help them take their next step in following Jesus. That will look different for each student, and we get that. That’s why God has given us over 150 uniquely gifted disciple-makers, all united under one name and for one purpose…

Enough said.

“Following Jesus and inviting others to do the same.”

We believe that God has called us to disciple the next generation of Christ-followers. The Ben Lippen Discipleship Center seeks to increase the spiritual climate of our school through intentional relationships, faculty development, and spiritual growth opportunities.

Disciples simply are people who are constantly revising their affairs to carry through on their decision to follow Jesus. – Dallas Willard
