Jack Austin ’22 and Mikah Conner ’23 are competing on a very unique summer collegiate team, Kingsmen Baseball, an organization that seeks to compete for Christ. The former Falcons are currently in the Dominican on the team’s annual mission trip. The Kingsmen play games against various local teams as an opportunity to share the Gospel. After each game, the team distributes Bibles, shares a gospel message, prays, and encourages athletes to accept Christ. Off the diamond, these young men are connecting with the community by serving orphanages, painting churches, and sharing personal testimonies. Kingmen Baseball provides an opportunity for athletes to play a game they love, travel, serve others, and deepen their own faith. Jack is a catcher for the USC Upstate Spartans entering his sophomore year, while Mikah will be a freshman and a pitcher for the Presbyterian College Blue Hose baseball program.
