Mrs. Alison Branham

Other Responsibilities: Directs and Instructs Sotto Voce singing group

Mrs. Branham is fairly new to Ben Lippen, having joined us in 2016, but has already made a huge impact on fine arts department and our students. In addition to teaching classes, Mrs. Branham has started Sotto Voce, an upper school vocal group, She also teaches applied voice and class voice at CIU. Mrs. Branham’s husband is a police officer and they have been married for almost 16 years. They have been blessed with two children: Jon, age 13, and Katherine, age 12. Jon likes engines and does competitive equestrian while Katherine can be found drawing, painting, or doing anything with art when she isn’t listening to music. In her free time, Mrs. Branham enjoys riding horses.

What is something most people don’t know about you? I have a twin brother.

What are you passionate about? I am passionate about autism awareness in education.

Why do you choose to work at Ben Lippen? I work at BL because I also teach at CIU and I believe that Ben Lippen is a mission field.

What do students get at Ben Lippen that they won’t get somewhere else? Ben Lippen provides a safe atmosphere in which students can figure out where God is leading them while they are also getting a top-notch Christian education.

What do you love most about Ben Lippen? I love the closeness of the faculty.

What do you love most about teaching the grades you teach? Since I teach Middle School through High School, I love all ages and cherish the blessing of watching them grow in Christ from year to year.

What is your favorite part of your school day? The favorite part of my school day is singing with my students.

Caroling at CIUWhat has been your most memorable moment at Ben Lippen so far? Singing Christmas carols around campus as a middle school body is my favorite memory.

What do you love most about teaching your students? I love that I can openly share my love for Jesus through my musical gifts everytime I work with my kids.
