Role: Alumni and Development Coordinator
Tell us about your family. Adam and I will celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary in August. We have four children: Carson is a rising junior, Callie is a rising 8th grader, Thomas will be in 2nd grade, and Owen will be in kindergarten. We also have a cat named Despereaux and a bunny named Carrots. Our house is rarely quiet!
What do you like to do in your free time? I love to exercise, read historical fiction (and some non-fiction), travel, and clean. Yes, I actually enjoy cleaning my house, when I have time.
What else would you like for readers to know about you? I wanted to be a political journalist while I was in high school and college. While I obviously am not in that role now, I still love to discuss the news and political ideas with others. So if you love to talk about politics or current events, stop by my office and chat for a bit!
What is something most people don’t know about you? I am a certified RPM (indoor cycling) instructor and teach at MÜV Fitness very early in the morning before work.
What are you passionate about? I am passionate about teaching young women about God’s Word. For several years, I have lead Bible studies in my home for women in their 20’s. I now teach in my church youth group. I am so thankful for the many women who have poured their biblical knowledge into me so that now I am able to do the same to a new generation.
Why do you choose to work at Ben Lippen? My background is in higher education development. When a position in the Ben Lippen Development Office opened, I was fortunate to become not just a Ben Lippen parent, but also a staff member.
What do you love most about Ben Lippen? As a parent, I love that my children feel safe and nurtured on campus. As a staff member, I love seeing firsthand the incredible work ethic and integrity of the faculty and staff.
What do you love most about your job? I love the fact that I can see my children and their friends on campus. It’s fun to have them stop by for snacks during the day!
