Three Ways to Support Our Falcons This Week
Dear High School Parents and Students,
We have some exciting events to wrap up this week at Ben Lippen. We have three events in which Ben Lippen students will be showcasing their talents and representing Ben Lippen in a variety of ways.
First, our Fine Arts department will be putting on the musical Annie on Thursday and Friday at 7 PM in the Performing Arts Center at the St. Andrews Road campus. The students in the drama program have been working hard for the past several months getting ready to put on this production and are excited to showcase their talents in the show. If you are able to attend you can purchase tickets ($10 for adults, $5 for students) for the show on the Ben Lippen website. The first 50 students who sign up will receive a free ticket compliments on the Athletic Department.
Also, on Thursday night, our competitive cheerleading squad will be competing in the state cheer competition at the Sumter Civic Center. The cheerleading squad is looking for their 3rd consecutive state championship and would love your support. Their division starts competing at 7:30 PM, with our girls taking the floor at 8:06. Tickets can be purchased at the door ($10 for adults, $5 for students).
Finally, our varsity football team will be playing in the SCISA semifinal football game against Laurence Manning. The football team picked up a first-round win at First Baptist this past Saturday and hope to follow that up with a win this Friday. The semifinal game will be played at Laurence Manning at 7:30 PM. Tickets can be purchased at the door ($10 for adults, $5 for students).
We will be holding a Pep Rally for grades 6-12 at the end of the school day on Friday to celebrate and recognize each of these teams for their accomplishments this year. We will be on a Pep Rally schedule on Friday (see attached), with class times slightly altered to fit in the pep rally at the end of the day.
